In an effort to create more representation in AIGA Minnesota, Design for Good and Sustainable Design introduced the Design Impact Series which highlighted the talents of established creative professionals of color and advocates in Minnesota. Throughout May of 2017, AIGA MN featured organizations who mentor youth in design, educate agencies on inclusion and implicit bias and use their talents to make a positive impact in Minnesota. Following the lecture series, artists and designers showcased work on race and ethnicity as a critique on visibility in design.
